Dream Make
2026Dream Make is a new series that explores the idea of art as an active catalyst, a collaborative force that makes things happen. Moving away from traditional objects, this project treats the experience and entity of effort, strategy, resource-pooling, and manifestation as the medium and art making process.
Like a writer has their film conducted into being by a director and host of crew, Dream Make looks at when an artist lends their creative agency to a stranger, acting as a director to bring the dreamer's vision into reality. Dreams like winning the lottery are out of human control without fraud; this is about uncovering tangible, human-scale concepts of desire that have the power to fundamentally add joy to someone's life.
By bridging the gap between imagination and action, Dream Make manifests the ephemeral into the physical world, proving that art can be the literal bringing forth of a dream.
