This work is a response to creative friction, specifically the frustration of wanting to explore multiple, seemingly incompatible artistic directions at the same time. Driven by an interest in systems theory, I began to look at my own creative output not as a single stream, but as an ecosystem made of different, independent parts trying to organise and express themselves.

The solution was the creation of a fictional gallery, an overarching framework designed to house a collective of invented artists.

For each artist, I authored a distinct biography, mapping out their specific motivations, backgrounds and aesthetics that resonated with my own parts. Stepping into these personas allowed me to bypass my own creative roadblocks, visualising and making work through their eyes. The website is a manifest collection of disparate sensibilities operating under one roof.
